LYRICS Deep Space Sublime

Cosmic tails and deep space rays
Flashing stars and shorter days
Find a way to communicate
Trapped up in a slingshot with a distant fate
Alone forever in perpetual space
Flying past earth from out of place
Cold as black and with no sound
Send you a message but you cant hear
Shame really when Im gliding so near
Like a whisper lost in the busy crowd

So I am sending you this message
From deep outta space
I know that you’re not listening
But I’m sending anyway
We both talk a different language
Forgotten in time
Wont you remember me
Deep Space Sublime

Salute me dear as i sail you by
Set Full sail in the summer sky
No earthly season again shall I see
Motion in space of perpetuity
Reach you I must this one last time
Else gone forever in the twinkling eye
One last letter I have to write to you
Fevered panic as time draws near
My final love song like windswept tears of the
Sun and moon as they collide and bind in the sky

Funky Music

The latest track – So funky your ears will bleed FUNK

Two fabulous works that bring me to tears..

OK so I am pathetic, a bit of a softie, a musical wimp but if I cared I wouldn’t post it here for everyone to have a listen and make up their own mind…

There are two things musically that actually bring me to tears (just about) everytime I hear them. I think its because both instruments, when used so masterfully, go past ‘just playing notes’ and actually (no pun intended) SING…

Like a flutterby whispering from the top of Mt Everest until its creates an avalanche below with wave upon wave of ethereal musical prayer washing over me until it consumes and swallows me whole…

Have a listen and make up your own mind..

1) Nigel Kennedy’s live 2005 concert in France where he plays Vivaldi’s Concerto No.2 in G minor RV315 “Summer” (Adagio) 2nd Movement (With the Polish Chanber Orchestra)

2) Mozarts Aria ‘Queen of the night’ from  Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) performed by German opera Singer Diana Damrau (and an Aria known for its difficulty)

LINKS: SPOTIFY YOUTUBE (YouTube: 2:50, 3:00 and 4:16- absolutely amazing)

I am lucky enough to see “The Magic Flute” live TONIGHT at the Coliseum here in London and although its in English (can sometimes be like watching a badly dubbed Asian film) I still cant wait…

Cancer Sucks – Ukulele

In November 2008 I was diagnosed with the early stages of Bowel Cancer. It was caught very early and I had an operation to have half my large bowel removed. My Journey was so very easy compared to some, others require chemo or radiation or simply do not make it.
